An amazing Scandinavian sculptural cocktail ring from Northern Europe (circa 1970s), a true one-of-a-kind work by an unknown artist. Masterfully crafted in solid 18k yellow gold with a polished finish and subtle brushed accents, the design is bold yet organic, set with a free-form pearl and a fine blue sapphire for an elegant, modernist contrast. A round faceted blue Ceylon sapphire of approximately 0.10 carats is bezel-set, while a free-form natural white pearl is nestled between the gold elements for a floating, sculptural effect. The ring weighs 20.70 g (13.30 dwt), is size 8.25 (resizable upon request), measures 30 x 26 mm (1.18 x 1.02 in), and rises approximately 10 mm over the finger. Unmarked, but electronically tested as 18k gold (.750 Au). Accompanied by a presentation jewelry box and in excellent condition, showing only light normal wear, with both gemstones secure and the ring carefully inspected to confirm condition and authenticity.
