A very rare and bold Verdura "Caged" cocktail ring from Milano, Italy, crafted in the shape of an innovative wired cage in solid 18k white gold with a rhodium finish and high polish. The design is filled with 25 translucent rock quartzes in mixed cuts that flutter and move freely within the caged enclosure, creating a playful, dynamic quality. This vintage design—originally conceived in 1941 (with the original model now in the Verdura Museum collection in Milano)—marries the irreverent spirit of Fulco di Verdura with timeless sophistication, combining the whimsy of maracas with haute joaillerie. The ring weighs 23.50 g (15.10 dwt), is size 6.25 (resizable upon request), measures 27 x 18 mm (2.76 x 2.85 x 0.60 in), and rises approximately 14 mm over the finger.
