1930s Ronson Art Deco smoking accessory combining a cedar-lined cigar humidor with an integrated Touch-Tip lighter, designed by Louis V. Aronson in a bold Machine Age form with polished/satin chrome and black lacquer accents. Includes a side water reservoir to humidify the box via a pass-through opening; cataloged as Ronson Model 16157 (T-T with humidor), dated 1936. Marked “FASHIONED BY RONSON NEWARK NJ… RONSON-TOUCH-TIP” with patent references. Approx. 5 pounds; 118 x 256 x 120 mm (4.65 x 10.1 x 4.75 inches).
The overall condition of this Ronson humidor is very good. Beside the little the normal wear and missing in the lacquer there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. This piece was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
