A statement, flamboyant early modernist cocktail ring from circa 1970, crafted in solid 18k white and yellow gold with an ultra high-polished finish and dramatic, high-raised retro geometry. The bold design forms a three-sided pyramidal figure and is richly set with 85 natural earth-mined gemstones arranged in a striking geometric pattern. At the center, a round brilliant-cut diamond of 0.55 carats (F color, VS1 clarity) is secured in a four-prong setting, surrounded by 33 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 3.18 carats (F/G color, VS2 clarity) and 51 round brilliant-cut vivid blue sapphires totaling approximately 6.63 carats, all four-prong set for maximum light and presence. The ring weighs 20.35 g (13.01 dwt), is size 7 (sizeable), measures 32 x 34 mm (1.25 x 1.34 in), and rises an impressive 26.5 mm over the finger. Stamped with the gold assay mark; accompanied by a presentation jewelry box and in excellent condition, showing only light normal wear, with no damage to the gold and all stones secure, and the piece carefully inspected to confirm condition and authenticity.
