This is a very elusive and rare desk cigar-cutter and match-box holder created in Germany during the art deco period, back in 1920. Crafted in the stylized shape of the German LZ-4 Zeppelin, with parts made up in zinc coated steel and glass. The Zeppelin in mounted by screws in four curved elements on a cut glass base, featuring a cigar cutter, a match-box holder and a cigar rest. The rudder at the rear of the airship can be unscrewed for emptying. Materials: Cut glass, zinc coated steel and steel. Period: Art-Deco, 1915-1920. Weight: About 2 pounds (1.13 Kg.).
