This is a very cute little salt cellar with a lid created by the jewelry house of Cartier during the post-war period, back in the 1950. The pieces have been crafted entirely in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with polished finish and the lid is embellished with a tridimensional pineapple. The covered dish is accompanied by a little tweezer. Country: France, United States. Period: Post War, 1950. Weight: 33.85 Grams, (21.70 Dwt). Measurements: Diameter 41 mm by a height of 38 mm (1.62 x 1.5 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark logo, the mark for the assay of the silver and signed as follow, "CARTIER STERLING". The overall condition of this Cartier little dish is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver.
