This is a beautiful oversized sugar-shaker created in London England by the goldsmiths John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, back in 1888. The table muffineer shaker has been crafted with classic Victorian patterns in solid .925/.999 sterling silver with high polished finish. It is in great condition, with no marks, dents or monograms. Weight: 393.95 Grams, (252.55 Dwt), (12.66 Troy ounces). Measurements: 178 mm by 70 mm (7 x 2.75 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with British marks; the lion head for the city of London, the maker's mark JATS associated to John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater, the letter code N for the year 1888 and the profile bust to the right of Queen Victoria.
Condition
The overall condition of this John Aldwinckle & Thomas Slater sugar-shaker is excellent, with no dents or marks. Beside the little normal wear there is no damage to the silver. All parts are secured in the settings.
