Extremely rare Ronson Art Deco desk/table lamp, made in Newark, New Jersey (USA) by Ronson Art Metal Works Inc., circa 1920–1930, featuring a sculptural gilt-bronze polar bear beside an “iceberg” art-glass shade. Set on a substantial black patinated iron base with four small sabots and green felt underside, this is a striking Machine Age decorative object in exceptional preserved condition; we have found no direct match to this exact Ronson model, only related variations by other makers. Wired for 110V (rewiring recommended); accepts 10–35W candle/hexagonal/flambeau bulbs. Marked “FASHIONED BY RONSON ALL METAL WORKS.” Weight 699.6 grams; 231 x 134 x 286 mm (9.10 x 5.25 x 11.25 inches). The overall condition of this Ronson polar bear desk lamp is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all part are secured. This lamp was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
