Extremely rare Ronson “Junior Sport” pocket petrol lighter, Art Deco 1928, made in Newark, New Jersey (USA) by Ronson Art Metal Works Inc. to a Louis V. Aronson design, cataloged as Model 86. Finely crafted in sterling silver with crisp geometric paneling and engine-turned linear decoration, this example is the early first finger push-button variety and remains non-monogrammed. Weight 53.95 grams (34.58 dwt); 67 x 37 x 10 mm (2.64 x 1.45 x 0.40 inches). Marked with maker/assay and signed “ART METAL WKS INC. STERLING RONSON DE LIGHT PATENTED-1673727 NEWARK NJ.”
