This is a beautiful antique censer, heavily cast in high relief in the middle of the 19th century during the Qing Dynasty, circa 1850. The fabulous censer has been designed with an ovoid body standing on three large elephant-head legs. It was crafted with exceptional highly detailed parts in solid gilt bronze depicting three exceptional mythical dragons. Fitted with a lid with a scepter on top and stamped with an apocryphal four-characters Qing Tongzhi square mark in relief. Country: China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Weight: 3 Pounds. (1.59 Kg.). Measurements: 197 mm by 229 mm by 229 mm (7.75 x 9 x 9 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped in the bottom, with an apocryphal four-character Qing Tongzhi mark in high relief inside a square.

Condition

The overall condition of Qing Dynasty Censer is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings.
