French bombe cocktail ring by Pery Et Fils, Paris, late 20th century, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish dome. Set with 89 natural gemstones: 80 French pavé-set round brilliant diamonds totaling approx. 2.40 ctw (F color, VS2 clarity), centered by a bezel-set oval cabochon vivid blue sapphire (8 x 7 x 6mm; approx. 3.62 ct) and surrounded by eight bezel-set round cabochon sapphires (3 x 3 x 2mm) totaling approx. 1.20 ctw. Total sapphire weight approx. 4.82 ctw. Weight 16.85 grams; size 7.75 (sizable); measures 26 x 17mm and rises 10mm. French hallmarks including maker’s mark and eagle’s head for 18K gold.
