Fabulous mid-century Italian bombe cocktail ring, circa 1960–1970, masterfully crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a rich high-polish finish and a platinum gallery for the diamond settings. The sculptural dome is French pavé set with 50 calibrated round brilliant diamonds totaling approx. 5.60 ctw (F color, VS1 clarity) for intense, even brilliance. Weight 25.70 grams; size 6.5 (sizable); measures 24 x 24mm and rises 15mm. Hallmarked and signed “MP 18KT PLAT”. Very good conditions.
