A very impressive piece, created in Paris France by the artist and goldsmith Jean Mahie, back in the 1970. This amazing sculptural collar necklace is part of the collection named "The Family". It is a vintage piece of abstract art and is extremely rare because the size, the massive weight and the magnificent eye appeal. It was carefully crafted in solid rich yellow Gold of 22 karats with textured, chiseled and hammered patterns. The design is composed by very interesting free forms elements such; playful humanoids figures, dogs, cats and other fantastic animals besides abstracts compositions. It is fitted with several links and a security hook. This solid Gold collar necklace is an impressive and lends a big, bold, Gold look on your neck. Weight: 260.2 grams (166.80 Dwt). Size: Fit a neck up to 15.7 Inches (40 Cm) and can be adjusted up to fit bigger. Measures: The front widest part is 56 mm (2.20 Inches). Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks, the mark for the assay of the 22kt Gold and Signed in full, "JEAN MAHIE 22KT".

Very good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide an appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
