Very beautiful brooch, created in New York city by George Schuler for the jewelry house of Cartier, back in the 1950-1960. This modernist folding wavy brooch has been crafted in solid rich yellow Gold of 18 karats with highly textured finish.
Diamonds: Mount in a four-prongs setting, with 1 round brilliant cut diamond of 0.25 carats, white colorless F/G color, VS-2 clarity.
Weight: 16.95 Grams, (10.87 Dwt). Measurements: 38 mm by 38 mm (1.50 x 1.50 Inches). Hallmarks Stamped with the Cartier branch, the maker's mark monogram GS associated to George Schuler, the mark for the assay of the 18kt gold, the five digits serial numbers and signed, "CARTIER 18KT 13645 GS".
