American Edwardian/Belle Époque jewel by J.E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1900–1910, crafted in solid platinum with refined period workmanship. Centered with a bezel-set round faceted vivid blue sapphire approx. 1.20 ct, framed by 182 European-cut diamonds: two bezel-set European rounds totaling approx. 0.30 ctw plus 180 calibrated European rounds in pavé totaling approx. 2.25 ctw (F color, VS clarity), for approx. 2.55 ctw total diamond weight. Weight 14.60 grams; measures 57 x 31 x 5mm. Stamped with maker’s mark/serial and signed “J.E.C & CO. T1681”.
