A rare and highly colorful Georgian pendant-and-chain from England (circa 1800–1820), crafted in an elegant oval form in .850 silver with finely worked shell-pattern detailing to the reverse. The front is richly decorated with blue and white enamel and centered by an ancient amphora motif set with 66 faceted marcasites, creating a striking antique jewel with strong period character. Fitted with a movable bale ring, the pendant is suspended from the included chain measuring 26 in (66 cm) (can be shortened upon request). The piece weighs 20.70 g (13.30 dwt) and measures 48 x 22 x 9 mm (1.89 x 0.87 x 0.35 in). The pendant bears unidentified early European marks and has been electronically tested for silver with results of .850/.999 Ag. Very good conditions.
