A fabulous pair of clip-on earrings created in Paris circa 1970, designed with striking retro-modernist patterns and masterfully crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish. The colorful earrings showcase a vibrant mix of 62 natural gemstones: 56 graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds in pavé settings totaling approximately 2.52 carats (F color, VS clarity), three fancy curved cabochon carvings of natural salmon-red coral in channel settings (approx. 14 carats total), and three fancy curved cabochon carvings of natural black onyx in channel settings (approx. 12 carats total), for striking color and textural contrast. Fitted with comfortable hinged omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the earrings weigh 27.95 grams and measure 26 x 16mm. Both are stamped with French hallmarks including the maker's monogram and assay marks for 18K gold, accompanied by a presentation jewelry box, and remain in excellent condition with all gemstones secure.
