A beautiful pair of clip-on earrings by Elizabeth Gage, created in London circa 1985 and crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish. These colorful statement earrings are richly embellished with a vibrant mix of gemstones: 18 graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds in flush settings totaling approximately 1.08 carats (F color, VS clarity), two bezel-set oval faceted natural Brazilian blue topazes measuring 10 x 6 x 5mm (approx. 5.60 carats total), and two bezel-set cultured round white pearls measuring 7mm, for a sophisticated, multi-textured composition. Fitted with hinged omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the earrings weigh 26.95 grams and measure 32 x 23 x 9mm. Stamped with British hallmarks including the London lion mark, the Elizabeth Gage "EG" maker's mark, the date letter "L" for 1985, and signed "GAGE EG .750 G. Ste. SGDG." Very good conditions.
