A beautiful pair of clip-on earrings by Elizabeth Gage, created in London circa 1985 and crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish. These colorful statement earrings are richly embellished with a vibrant mix of gemstones: 18 graduated round brilliant-cut diamonds in flush settings totaling approximately 1.08 carats (F color, VS clarity), two bezel-set oval faceted natural Brazilian blue topazes measuring 10 x 6 x 5mm (approx. 5.60 carats total), and two bezel-set cultured round white pearls measuring 7mm, for a sophisticated, multi-textured composition. Fitted with hinged omega backs for secure clip wear (posts for pierced ears can be added if desired), the earrings weigh 26.95 grams and measure 32 x 23 x 9mm. Stamped with British hallmarks including the London lion mark, the Elizabeth Gage "EG" maker's mark, the date letter "L" for 1985, and signed "GAGE EG .750 G. Ste. SGDG."
