An unusual vintage piece, created during the post war and the mid-century periods, back in the 1950-1960. This ring has been very well crafted in the shape of a sea turtle in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with highly textured finish. The top part with the turtle can be easily dismount from the ring and wear as a brooch since is fitted with a hinged pin bar with a mechanical lock.
Diamonds: Mount with 25 round brilliant cut diamonds, with a combined weight of 0.85 carats, F color, VS-2 clarity
Gemstones: The eyes are accented with a pair of faceted round rubies, 0.04 carats.
Weight: 23.9 Grams, (15.32 Dwt).
Size: 6.25, sizeable.
Measurements: 37 mm by 21 mm (1.46 x 0.83 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark and the gold assay mark 18kt.
