Beautiful statement ring, created during the transition of the American art deco to the retro periods, circa 1945. This solid bold ring has been crafted with fluted and floriated patterns in solid yellow gold of 14 karats. Mount in the center, with a round cabochon cut (18 x 18 x 13.5 mm) of a natural color changing grayish-violetish-bluish star sapphire of 47.24 carats. Has a total weight of 21.5 Grams and the actual size is 7.25, sizeable. The top view measures are 23 mm by 24 mm and raise 20 mm over the finger. Stamped, with the maker's mark, the hallmark for the gold assay and signed inside a triangle, "JAM 14KT". Good conditions. Upon Request, Auction House may provide ring resizing or/and appraisal.
