Very nice European Art Deco hat-dress pin, circa 1920, crafted in solid .800/.999 silver with chinoiserie patterns. Features a large natural nephrite green jadeite jade carving depicting a flying mythological dragon. Jade measures 35 x 40 x 3 mm (1.38 x 1.57 x 0.11 in), untreated and undyed. Pin measures 7 inches (17.78 cm) in length, weighing 13.2 grams. A striking example of period craftsmanship and exotic artistry. Very good conditions.
