Oversized coin pendant by Jean Paris, Paris, late 20th century, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish and a movable bail for chain wear. Centered with an authentic ancient Roman bronze sestertius of Antoninus Pius (Rome mint, AD 138–161), with laureate portrait obverse (ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XII) and Aequitas reverse (COS IIII SC). Pavé set with 28 round brilliant diamonds totaling 1.68 ctw (F/G color, VS2) and accented with 6 Burmese rubies totaling 0.82 ctw, 6 Colombian Muzo emeralds totaling 0.65 ctw, and 6 Ceylon sapphires totaling 0.82 ctw. Weight 60.95 grams; measures 51 x 52mm. French hallmarks including eagle head, signed “JEAN PARIS 18K”.
