This ring is really a sculpture. Created in Europe and most probably made in Italy or England around the 1960. The artistic composition can be associate to the Avant Garde Zero-group concepts. The ring has been crafted in solid yellow gold of 14 karats with high polished finish. Designed with the pure geometric forms of a cube and a sphere, which is carved from lapis-lazuli, which looks floating in the center giving the appearance of light, space and participation. The construction of this ring is wonderful. It was made as toy, a miniature model with precise cuts, exact plans and fastened with two screws. Lapis lazuli: Mounted, with 1 spherical bead of 10 mm carved from natural lapis lazuli. Weight: 11.95 Grams, (7.66 Dwt). Size: 6.5 and may be sized up or down on special request. Measurements: 14 mm by 14 mm (0.55 x 0.55 Inches) and raise 15 mm over the finger. Hallmarks: Stamped with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the gold and signed, "14K TH".
