This exceptional mesh purse by Whiting & Davis Co., America, circa 1920-25, features intricate geometric X-pattern mesh crafted in .925/.999 sterling silver with 14K yellow and rose gold, embellished with synthetic blue sapphire and fitted with 12-inch chain, weighing 110.8 grams (71.10 dwt.) with main body measuring 152.4 x 203.2mm (6 x 8 inches) and 304.8mm (12-inch) chain. Frame decorated with exquisite engravings, stamped "WHITING & DAVIS CO. STERLING 14KT MESH BAGS REG-US PATD"

Condition

The overall condition of this Whiting & Davis Co. mesh purse is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver or the gold. All parts are secured in the settings.
