Exceptional 1930s Moorish prince brooch, Venice, Italy, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with patinated silver accents. Features a carved natural black ebony head with intricate facial details, adorned with baroque ropes and a turban accented by a Sardinian coral cabochon (approx. 2 ct). Set with a bezel natural red ruby cabochon (0.30 ct). Measures 75 x 29 x 17 mm (2.95 x 1.14 x 0.67 in), weighing 9.8 grams. Fitted with hinged pin bars and trombone lock; stamped with gold assay “.750.”
