Beautiful and playful three-dimensional brooch of a happy lion, crafted in Paris, France around the 1965 in solid 18 karats of textured yellow gold, with .950/.999 platinum . The nose at the lion's happy face is set with black enamel and a French pave setting of 14 round brilliant cuts diamonds, 0.56 carats, D/E color, VS-1 clarity. The eyes are accented with a pair of round brilliant cuts of natural Colombian vivid green emeralds (0.06 Cts). Total weight: 22.7 grams. Measurements: 48 mm (1.89 inches) by 37 mm (1.46). Stamp: French hallmarks; the eagle's head, the maker's maitre cartouche P et Fils for Pery et Fils, serial numbers, "VAN CLEEF & ARPELS MADE IN FRANCE NY1V607-1 18 KT 950 PT."
