A gorgeous cocktail ring by Van Cleef & Arpels, Paris, crafted in 1980 in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish and refined, elegant proportions. The beautiful design is embellished with 18 natural, earth-mined gemstones: a round brilliant-cut diamond at the center in a four-prong setting (approx. 0.25 ctw, E color, VVS clarity), flanked by 16 calibrated round brilliant-cut diamonds in French pavé settings totaling approximately 0.80 carat (E color, VVS clarity), and topped with a square element of natural black onyx mounted with a concealed screw for a seamless finish. The ring weighs 4.95 grams, is currently size 7.75 (easily resizable upon request), measures 20 x 9mm, and rises 6mm off the finger. Stamped with French hallmarks including the eagle head assay mark, the Ste. F maker's cartouche, serial numbers, and signed "©VAN CLEEF & ARPELS .750 86766.XL." Accompanied by a presentation jewelry box, it remains in excellent condition with all gemstones secure.
