Exceptional Trudel cocktail ring, Zürich, early 1970s, designed by goldsmith Kurt Aepli (Trudel’s former creative director) with bold geometric lines that fuse Art Deco discipline with sleek contemporary Swiss design. Crafted in solid 18K white gold with a high-polish finish, it centers a bezel-set oval pyramidal sugarloaf cabochon Colombian Muzo emerald (9.4 x 6.3 x 5.82mm; approx. 2.52 ct) and is flanked by two “floating” bezel-set square carré step-cut diamonds (4 x 4mm) totaling approx. 1.00 ctw (E/F color, VS1 or better). Weight 12.95g; size 6.25 (sizable). Stamped with Swiss marks and signed “TRUDEL .750”. Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
