Rare modernist vintage sautoir necklace designed by Cummings in the mid of the 1970's. It was crafted at the Tiffany & Co studios in high polished 18 kt yellow gold. Composed by a large tri-dimensional ovoid sphere of 32 mm by 24 mm and 47 ovoid carved beads of natural tiger eye quartz,, each one of 17 mm by 12 mm.. The main piece is embellished with a pair of oval cabochon cut carvings of natural tiger eye quartz, Both, with a weight of about 20 carats. Have a total weight of 176.95 grams and a length of 36 inches (92 Cm). The total combined weight of the gems are 785 carats. The gold part is engraved with the individual serial number and stamped, with the early tiffany maker's mark, the gold assay hallmark and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. C. 18 KT 1408".
