A very rare Aldo Cipullo convertible pendant-brooch, created in New York City (circa 1965–1970) and crafted in solid 18k yellow gold with a high-polished finish and crisp geometric patterning. The design is beautifully accented with four translucent chrysoprase carvings, each set in concealed framed settings for a clean, architectural look and vivid green presence. Ingeniously constructed for versatility, the reverse is fitted with two fixed rings to wear as a pendant on a chain, plus a concealed hinged pin bar with a mechanical lock to wear securely as a brooch. The piece weighs 41.65 g (26.72 dwt) and measures 56 x 56 x 13 mm (2.21 x 2.21 x 0.52 in). Stamped with maker’s mark and gold assay/warranty marks, and signed “©TIFFANY & CO. 18KT.” Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
