Beautiful, sleek and elegant carry-on perfume bottle from the art deco period, circa 1920. This model was designed and crafted at the Tiffany & Co. studios in New York city in solid sterling silver .925/.999 and decorated with engine turned linear designs. This perfume bottle was made under the directory period of John C. Moore (1907-1947) and was first introduced by Tiffany in the 1910 to be specially personalized and decorated with motifs to suit each client.
Weight: 69.30 Grams, (44.45 Dwt).
Measurements: 32 mm by 32 mm by 83 mm (1.25 by 1.25 x 3.26 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped at the bottom with the maker's mark, the mark for the assay of the .925 sterling silver, the inventory order numbers and signed in full, "TIFFANY & CO. 17689T MAKER'S 11259 STERLING SILVER .925/1000 7".
