Circa 1903 Badger Brass Mfg Co. Solar Model 41-A kerosene carriage lamp, crafted in polished brass, copper, optical convex, and faceted glass. Designed for early motor cars and horse carriages, featuring a regal shape and round handle. Weighs 5 pounds, measures 337 x 216 x 203 mm. Stamped with maker’s mark and signed “SOLAR MODEL 41-A PAT DEC 8 03 OTHER PATS. PENDS.” A rare and decorative antique lighting piece.
