A vintage unusual and sculptural piece from the mid century period, circa 1960's. It was crafted in 18karats yellow Gold and display the Italianate Grotesque portrait face of Bacchus, the ancient god of the wine.
The top part over the head, is decorated with grapes and leaves. The portrait is carved from a single piece of red coral with stunning skills and intricates details.
This piece have a total weight of 17.95 grams and a measures of 35 mm (1.38 inches) by 25 mm (1 inch).
Signed and tamped at the reverse with the maker's mark and assay hallmarks, "S&F K18 .750".
