Oversized claret jar formed as a standing falcon, combining hand-cut green glass body with .925 sterling silver mounts worked with chiseled, textured feather detailing; fitted with sculptural legs, a push rim, and a removable lid modeled as the falcon’s head. Materials: hand-cut green glass and sterling silver. Dimensions: H 362 mm x 197 x 130 mm (14.25 x 7.75 x 5.10 in). Weight: approx. 970 g (0.97 kg / 2.14 lb). Hallmarks: Spanish pre-1934 marks for sterling and fully signed “MADE IN SPAIN STERLING SILVER .925/000.” The overall condition of this Claret wine jar is excellent. Beside the little normal wear there is no damage to the silver or the green glass. All parts are secured in the settings.
