This small silver with niello box was produced in Kostroma between 1848 and 1874 (in this period, assay master by the name Ivan Vasilyev Volkov. Assay mark "84", "NB 1849". Russian Assay mark: Ivan Vasilyev Volkov 1848-1874 "NB". Measurements: 3.0 x 1.75 x 0.7 inches.
