This rare substantial bangle from the Victorian Grand Tour era, Rome, circa 1870-80, features Roman and Etruscan revival patterns crafted in solid 19K yellow gold, embellished with intricate three-dimensional micromosaic panels depicting loving swans and flower bouquets in neo-classical frames, executed with thousands of tiny pieces carved from natural hardstones including lapis lazuli, red coral, maroon jasper, black onyx, green malachite, and crème nacre, weighing 116.2 grams (74.5 dwt.) and measuring 52mm width (2.05 inches), fits wrist up to 6.5 inches (16.5cm) with 7-inch inside circumference.
