Rare sculptural Cubist cocktail ring attributed to Canadian designer Roger Lucas, circa 1970s, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with white-gold accents for the diamond settings. Centered with an oversized cubic lapis lazuli (15 x 15 x 15mm; approx. 15 ct) held within staggered geometric supports that create shifting perspectives from every angle. Accented with 20 European-cut round diamonds in flush settings totaling approx. 0.40 ctw (G/H color, VS/SI clarity). Weight 25.75 grams; size 6.5 (sizable); measures 24 x 21mm and rises 17mm. Stamped with palm-leaf maker’s mark and “18KT”.
Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined. Any synthetic (lab-grown) stones will be clearly indicated in the description. Upon Request, Auction House may provide Ring resizing or/and appraisal. This will carry an additional cost. Appraisals are made by our in house GIA certified Gemologist.
