1928 Art Deco "La Mode" petrol purse lighter by Ripley & Gowan Co., crafted in .925/.999 sterling silver. Features elegant oval art deco patterns with engine-turned guilloché, green enamel, and floral decorations. Measures 56 x 13 x 8 mm, weighs 16.3 grams. Fitted with a removable lid for the petrol lighter base. Unmarked but electronically tested as sterling silver.

Condition

The overall condition of this Art-Deco purse lighter by Ripley & Gowan is excellent. Besides the little normal wear, there is no damage to the silver. The enamel is secured in the settings. This piece was carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
