Striking post-war brutalist ring by Reveriano Castillo, Mexico, 1950, hand-crafted in solid .925 sterling silver with textured irregular finish. Features a rustic prong-set natural purple-blue azurite specimen (approx. 30 ct) as the centerpiece. Measures 29 x 28 mm (1.14 x 1.10 in), rises 20 mm, size 6.75 (resizable), weighing 24.95 grams. Stamped with Mexican marks (1948–1955), eagle “36” maker’s mark, and signed “REVERIANO CASTILLO STERLING .925.” Unique, sculptural statement piece. Very good conditions.
