Beautiful rare clip-on earrings by René Boivin, Paris, circa 1970, crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with a high-polish finish and bold three-dimensional puffed, bulbous forms. Fitted with removable posts for pierced wear plus French omega backs for secure clip fastening, and issued with individual serial numbers. Weight 22.85 grams; measures 23 x 18mm. French hallmarks including maker’s mark and eagle’s head for 18K gold, signed “RENE BOIVIN 1136 .750”.
