Rare three-dimensional convertible clip/pendant-brooch by René Boivin, crafted in 18K yellow gold with brushed and polished finishes, fitted with concealed hinge pin bars for brooch wear and a pendant bar. Rubies: 15 round cabochon/bullet-cut Burmese rubies totaling approx. 5.45 cts, mounted in flush star settings (natural vivid red). Weight 24 g (15.40 dwt). Measures 30 x 24 x 19 mm (1.18 x 0.95 x 0.75 in). Hallmarks: French marks including Boivin maker’s mark and eagle head for 18K gold.
