Circa 1850 Qing Dynasty gilt bronze censer, heavily cast in high relief with an ovoid body on three elephant-head legs. Decorated with three detailed mythical dragons and topped with a lid featuring a scepter. Weighs 3 pounds, measures 197 x 229 x 229 mm. Stamped on the bottom with an apocryphal four-character Qing Tongzhi mark in high relief. An exceptional antique piece of Chinese artistry. The overall condition of Qing Dynasty Censer is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. This antique censer has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
