Circa 1880 Qing Dynasty bronze high relief figure of enthroned Mazu Quan Yin, partially fire-gilded. Depicts the goddess of the sea with serene meditation expression, seated on a rectangular throne and adorned with three bird motifs on the head. Weighs 2 pounds, measures 244 x 159 x 114 mm. A rare sculptural piece blending spiritual symbolism and fine craftsmanship. The overall condition of this Qing Dynasty enthroned Quan Yin is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. This antique censer has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
