This exceptional pair of heavily cast bronze censers from the Qing Dynasty, circa 1800, features ovoid bodies standing on three large legs with exceptional high-relief detailing depicting mythical dragons and elephants at the sides, fitted with lids decorated with standing foo-dogs and pedestals en suite, weighing approximately 7 pounds (3.18 kg.) combined and measuring 223mm height x 170mm length x 140mm depth (8.75 x 6.70 x 5.50 inches). Both stamped at base with apocryphal four-character Qing period mark in high-relief square—a museum-quality pair exemplifying Chinese bronze casting mastery and imperial period craftsmanship.

Condition

The overall condition of this pair of Qing Dynasty Censers is excellent. Beside the little normal wear, there is no damage and all parts are secured in their settings. These antique censers has been carefully inspected to guarantee the condition and authenticity.
