Rectangular carved wood table clock inlaid with natural white nacre, with sliding side doors (one glazed) and a lift-up framed glass front; the façade is enriched by a gilt-bronze panel with finely engraved Chinoiserie motifs and a cast gilt-brass mask with Eastern figures and florals surrounding a 4.5 in white porcelain dial with black Roman hours, Arabic quarters, minute track, and baroque-style hands. Movement: substantial twin chain fusee with turned pillars, verge escapement, and rack strike on bell (noted with two bells for hour/minutes), backplate engraved with an oval “signature.” Materials: carved wood, gilt bronze/brass, white/black enameled dial, nacre inlay, glass.
