They was carefully crafted in a bombe shape in solid yellow gold of 18 karats with high polished finish. Exceptional pair of sculptural clip on earrings, created in Paris France back in the 1960. This rare and voluptuous pieces are attributed to the workshop of Pierre Sterle.
Gemstones: Mounted with 2 fancy fluted cabochon cuts carved from natural vivid blue Hungarian lapis lazuli.
Weight: 51.80 Grams, (33.20 Dwt.).
Measurements: 26 mm by 26 mm by 28 mm (1.02 x 1.02 x 1.10 Inches).
Hallmarks: Stamped with French marks; the head of the eagle for the assay and warranty of the 18kt gold, the maker's maitre Ste S. inside a lozange cartouche and signed, "MADE IN FRANCE .750 Ste. SGDG 750 Ste S.".
