Gorgeous Modernist geometric ring by Dinh Van for Pierre Cardin, France, circa 1970, from the era when Jean Dinh Van led Cardin’s jewelry design. Crafted in solid 14K yellow gold with a high-polish finish, the minimalist sculptural form subtly references the “PC” initials through composite geometric shapes. Set with a flat round black onyx disk in bezel (10mm; approx. 2 ct). Weight 7.95g; size approx. 5.75–6 (sizable); measures 31 x 22 x 3mm. Stamped with maker’s mark, mixed-metal assay marks, and signed “PIERRE CARDIN 14K”. Very good conditions. All our diamonds and colored gemstones are naturally earth-mined.
