Exceptional Nardi turtle brooch, Venice, circa 1960 (Baroque Revival), crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with superb Italian workmanship. Centered with a large carved Sardinian red coral cabochon forming the turtle body (approx. 100 ct), pavé set with 256 round brilliant diamonds totaling 7.78 ctw (F/G color, VS clarity), and accented with two bezel-set round cabochon vivid blue sapphires totaling approx. 0.14 ctw. Fitted with dual hinged pin stems and a safety hook for secure wear. Weight 52.80 grams; measures 65 x 58 x 20mm. Stamped with maker’s logo/Italian marks and signed “NARDI .750”.
