Statement pair of Italian Modernist clip-on earrings, late 1960s–early 1970s, attributed to Carlo Weingrill. Crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with polished fluted detailing, set with two rich blue lapis lazuli carved as fancy fluted/scalloped cabochon forms in bezel settings (combined approx. 28 ctw). Fitted with removable gold posts for pierced wear and concealed French omega backs for secure clip fastening. Weight 24.3 grams; each measures approx. 22 x 16 x 16.3mm. Stamped for 18K gold standard.
