A beautiful classic pair of Italian Modernist clip-on earrings from the late 1960s, designed with bold rectangular pyramidal forms and crafted in solid 18K yellow gold with an elegant contrast of brushed and polished finishes. Each earring is bezel-set with a well-matched rectangular sugarloaf cabochon of natural greenish turquoise totaling approximately 24 carats, giving the pair strong color and sculptural presence. Fitted with gold posts for pierced wear and comfortable hinged French omega backs for secure clip fastening, the earrings weigh 17.90 grams and measure 22 x 18 x 11mm. Both are stamped with the maker’s mark and signed “PB AB 18 kt,” accompanied by a presentation jewelry box, and remain in excellent condition with only minimal wear and the turquoise securely set.
